Why the Roof Required a Project-Specific Design
A continuous curved roof cannot be treated as a flat-roof installation. The project required checks of measured curvature, roof condition, structural capacity, wind loads, substrate compatibility, adhesive system, drainage, waterproofing, cable routing and maintenance access.
Engineering Checks Completed
- Project-level structural capacity review.
- Project-level wind-load review, including roof edge and corner conditions.
- Curvature and module-conformity assessment.
- Substrate and adhesive-fixing review.
- Layout, drainage, waterproofing and maintenance-access coordination.
Evidence Boundary
This case demonstrates that X-SOLAR flexible modules and an adhesive fixing system have been applied on a real continuous curved industrial metal roof. It does not prove that every curved or low-load roof can use the same configuration. Each project still requires independent structural, wind, substrate, fixing and site-condition verification.
