Practical review checklist

· Locate each feature. Link the roof plan position to a photograph and a short description of the equipment or opening.

· Record geometry. Provide checked footprint and height information for review, and mark measurements that are still approximate.

· Identify the owner. Ask who operates the feature and what service access, ventilation or replacement space it requires.

· Update the layout. Keep reserved areas visible on each revision and record changes introduced by other building contractors.

When to request clarification

Request clarification when an object is unlabelled or its maintenance envelope is unknown. Do not replace the equipment owner's requirements with a generic clearance drawn from another project.

Questions buyers ask

Is the visible footprint the whole reserved area? No. Service access and equipment replacement can require additional project-specific space.

What should be recorded when information is missing? Record the missing evidence, responsible reviewer and condition that must be resolved before the affected decision.

Send the indexed roof plan, checked obstacle geometry, service-owner requirements and any planned equipment changes.
